How do l STOP receiving an "OFFER" from an eBay Seller l Never Contacted ?

I am NOT Interested in a 5% Saving on an already over inflated eBay Selling Price. Did not ask for it, nor do l want it.  How do these "people" get my eBay id.  ?   Thanks.

sellers don't get your ID.  eBay gives them the ability to send out offers to anybody who 'watches' their item.

You can either ignore the offer or remove the item from your watch list. Unfortunately there is no way to turn it off. 5% off is the minimum, so these sellers send a lot of 5% off offers.

Some offers are also eBay generated - not from the seller. I've come across two sellers who don't accept offers despite eBay sending offers to potential customers. One seller was very annoyed about it.

you have more than likely put them on your 'watched list'.....just delete it

Alrught... you need to understand that as soon as you add an item to your watch list, you are opening yourself to offers from that seller. If you don't want to receive offers, don't add anything to your watch list - simples.

I've got a current item listed for $44.95... I got the "send offer" option, so I shot off an offer for $40... the clown countered with $2.50... sorry, clown is a compliment.

While the option of sending offers is there, and on most occasions it's a friggin excellent sales tool, it doesn't always work as planned.
