I have purchased an item a while ago and have not yet received it even though it has been more than 40 days since the payment date. Seller has asked me to wait until they track the item and it does not look like i will receive it any time soon. I am trying to request a refund because i can not wait any longer. Anyone been in similar situation? Thank you

Did you pay by paypal?
If yes and it is not past the 45 days then open the non received dispute NOW.
DO NOT let the seller string you along till the 45 days has passed as this will prevent you from opening a dispute to get your money back.
