When I purchased the exercise bike i read through the listing and postage details and it stated free postage, even when i did the "get rates bit. 10 days after purchasing it, the seller messaged me and said it cost more to my state (an extra $80) and when I looked at the listing again it said it wasn't free postage at the top but that wasn't there when I bought the item. It also said that the listing was revised AFTER I purchased it (there was more than one item)
The seller asked if I wanted the item and pay more for courier or a refund. I said refund (I didn't have the money for a courier). since then there has been no response from the seller, it has been 8 business days since they said they would issue a refund, which hasn't shown up in pay pal and 2 days ago they marked it as item sent.
Should I start a dispute? I messaged them to ask if the refund was still coming through or if the item was being sent but no response.
if you funded your paypal payment with a credit card, then the refund goes directly to your c/card not to Paypal.. it takes 3-4 days, so check your c/c statement to see when the refund comes if that is how you paid paypal.
