When i purchased a buy now computer part, it was $29.00 plus $20.00 postage. Thats ok, when i received the invoice from paypal it had $49.00 total due, I paid forthwith. I have now received an email from the seller telling me I owe $4.90 more to cover postage. They informed me that paying by paypal incurred an extra $4.90, making the postage $24.90, but if I paid by direct deposit then it was only $20.00. I checked the listing on the sale and it said $20.00, see details, I opened it up and there it was $20.00 for standard postage. On reading right down the bottom of their description, they had printed on there postage is $20 if you pay by direct debit or $24.90 if paying by paypal. They have suggested I depoit the $49.00 direct into the account, they will refund the paypal amount, or I can go into paypal and send them a gift of $4.90, making it a gift to family so they dont pay commission..........I would like to ask somebody with more expierience than me....what should I do, I feel that i have paid the right amount of money, what was on the invoice, the seller is obviously trying to cover his paypal costs, isnt this against ebays rules, hope somebody can help. Further information can be given if somebody needs it to help me
