If I retract my bid, which is the only bid on the item, will the buy it now option reappear for that item.

Thanks for your helpful responses.  As one answer says they did this and the BIN didnt return, I'm not going to try it.  I'll just put in my maximum bid and hope it's high enough, because I won't be here to be tempted to go higher.
