Need to cancel transaction as seller only has payment via Paypal

Hi all

I recently made an error and purchased an item from overseas that had payment via Paypal only and I do not have a Paypal account. I have apologised to the seller and they have said that they understand, however I think due to difficulties with English as a second language, they haven't issued a mutual cancellation of transaction, despite my requests. What can I do now? It says that I can open a case after 10 days, does that mean that I can cancel it then? I really wanted this item, but I cannot find a way to pay for it.

If you are going to use ebay then for your own protection get a paypal account.

It will not cost you anything and then you have buyer protection.

You can still pay via paypal without an account and use your credit card to pay for the purchase.
