Item marked brand new but when I received it parts were missing.Tried to email seller but will not respond.

I purchased outdoor lights but when I opened the box there was no transformer. It clearly shows on a picture in the listing of box contents '1 x low voltage indoor transformer' These lights are useless without it.( I can purchase one from the manufacturer).The seller won't respond to my emails asking  to rectify the problem.What can I do?

Next to the item in your "my ebay" there is a drop down box - from there choose "resolve a problem" and open a case for "item not as described".

You will be required to send the item back when told to by paypal, at the address they give you by registered post for a refund. You will have to pay the return post but you will be refunded the item cost plus original postage.

Don't close the case without a refund.

Don't send by regular or express (not sufficient for paypal rules)

Send only to the address paypal gives you

Keep your paperwork

If the seller continues to be non-responsive, you have feedback to make your feelings known and to warn other buyers.
