Parcel missing/stolen??

I've purchased a $500 dress recently from NSW, supposed to be sent express + signature.    Payment was made on 3rd March, the seller indicated it has been sent on 5th, there's no sight of package by the 9th Mar, so I asked the seller if she has sent it, she provided a photo of shipping receipt that it's been sent express albeit NO SIGNATURE REQUIRED.   I did a search on tracking info it was delivered on 7th March left on the front door, photo taken as proof of delivery by AusPost.  

By now........ obviously the parcel has been stolen and the seller claimed she had done all that she could and asked me to contact Ebay.  Estimated delivery is 14th Mar - 18th Mar

What to do from this point onwards?  How should I go get this sorted?    I meant it is not something cheap, we are talking hundreds here.   Someone/anyone please help!!!!!

My take :

You have a problem because the item will show delivered.

However - can you prove the postage included signature on delivery - which you paid for - and was not sent as such. ??

If so - get onto live chat - ask for a supervisor - and take it from there.

Yes, the listing did stated signature is required, seller only sent by Express Post

If you paid for sig on delivery, and you were not home, the parcel would have been taken to the p.o. for you to collect:

I was charged for Express Post + Signature. Seller did not use signature requirement at the post office. Parcel was left on front door while i'm not home to receive then it's gone never seen again!

Seller argued that it was delivered on the front door with proof of photo taken by AusPost. My stand is obviously she charged shipping for Express + Signature but never paid Signature part at the post office and now the parcel is missing. It is her responsibility to rectify the missing parcel, is that correct?

Exactly....you have a case against the seller for not following through!
