Postage time over three months

I purchased an item from Taiwan, which is now coming from China, on the 26th of July.

The seller contacted me and asked for more than double the listed postage cost, and said that if this wasn't paid shipping would be delayed.

I asked for my money back on the seventh of this month, when they said that the item had been returned.  Soon after which tracking appeared, showing the item posted on the 7th, although they claim to have posted it before this.

They now have estimated latest delivery time of over three months, and as this is after feedback can be left, or action taken, is there anything that I can do if/when the item doesn't arrive?

A lot of countries are asking for high surcharges to get mail on the way.....what you have said is probably quite correct.   The parcel being returned to the seller I cannot explain.

Feedback is of no consequence.....getting a refund is the main objective if your item does not arrive.  If you miss the cutoff for an ebay dispute you have 6 months from the time of payment to claim through paypal.
