Do you receive an email when refunded by paypal

Hey all,

My daughter purchased an item thru a USA seller who couldn't convert the weight and claimed ebay could not help her. So we agreed to cancel the item and wait for a refund to rebuy relisted. But she claims she has refunded there is no pay pal email to suggest she has. We emailed to say that we have no email (we realise the process in actually getting the money back takes days) but usually there is email confirmation to say a refund has been processed. Nothing. What should we do now?

Just to add she seems ok, feedback is good. We asked her to double check she hadn't missed anything but she says its done.

Have you looked at the original payment? Is the refund there?

Did you pay by c/c? If so, money will be refunded to that

Hi yes we did check, nothing there. Was paid via paypal. The whole thing is a little odd really, she said she has done it properly but no evidence of that so far. Having said that there is no reason to doubt her either given she has good feedback and seems quite reasonable
