My items do not arrive until 2 months after purchase date. Items get automatically archived then 'leave feedback' option not available. Why?

Hello, some of my ordered items don't arrive from China for two months or more after purchase date.  I do contact sellers to try to work out why the items haven't arrived as yet and I generally do receive them in the end.  

I would like to let sellers know that I received the items by leaving positive feedback, but the items are no longer on my current purchase list. They are automatically moved to archived list and the "Leave Feedback" option is no longer available.

Why does this happen and how do I leave positive feedback for those items?

This happens to most of my deliveries from China also. Example expected delivery of one of my items is 24 February and the eBay feedback button was available until yesterday, today it's gone and it's only February 22nd. Someone in eBay needs to fix this problem as sellers are not getting feedback from us purchasers and I rely on the feedback to pick which seller I use.
