a seller wont respond to my messages re pick up of an item i bought

I bought an item on ebay and have messaged to seller to pick it up and pay him the cash, but they do not reply to my messages

just to let you know, seller sells on ebay is not free

ebay takes commission, paypal takes commission everytime when buyer makes a transaction

ebay also monitoring messages,

the seller does not respond could be because they are busy with other messges in the queue,

also they do not want to penalise by ebay because cutting the middle man

Just to let you know, once a buyer commits to purchase, eBay DO allow contact details to be exchanged.

It also doesn't matter how the buyer pays, eBay take their fees regardless. Cash transactions don't have anything to do with Paypal so there are no Paypal fees.

As the buyer has committed to the purchase there is nothing underhand about paying cash on pickup. It's even an eBay 'postage' option.
