i bought an item from ebay and then purchased the same item from a different website at $40 cheaper.

i bought 2 item from ebay for $110 and then found the same item the following day on dealsdirect for $32.

when the items were shipped they both came from dealsdirect.

i contacted the seller and told them you have charged me 4 times more for the same item from the same supplier.

i want to return my items but they have told me that i am only entiltled to $20 refund as i have to cover their fees.

is this correct? i dont understand how sellers can over inflate items this much and get away with it.

can someone please shed some light.

Shop around is the my only piece of advice.

You had the tools in front of you to check varying prices, you should have used it.

If you went to David Jones and purhcased an item that you later found cheaper on sale at another outlet, DJ are under no obligation to refund you, unfortunately, same applies here.
