I have requested a refund on an item this was done at the first level through Pay Pal resolution.
The seller responded through eBay not Pay Pal asking if I have sent item back, will refund on return.
Is it acceptable to return it even though he is communicating outside the resolution centre.
I know to cover myself registered post will be used.
If you have opened a dispute with the seller then it is best to keep all communications through there. I would reply in the resolution area thanking the seller for their email, but that for convenience it would be better keeping all communications through there. Tell them that as a dispute has been opened, you will be very happy to post the item back WHEN PAYPAL DIRECTS YOU TO and not before.
