I have just purchased some shelving through eBay , add says $14. ? For postage but you have charged me 44.$ ? And I purchesed 2x  too save on postage and have been charged for 1

Nobody here has charged you anything, the seller is the one that has charged you.  eBay does not sell anything, they just bring buyers and sellers together.  Did you ask the seller if they can combine postage before buying? If so, did you request combined postage before paying?  If the incorrect postage cost came up at checkout, you should not have paid but contacted the seller first.  Did you pay regardless? Need more information on what exactly happened to be able to help you further.

You purchased from a seller who sells their items on eBay, not eBay itself

Postage costs can vary by postcode and not all sellers offer combined postage.

What is the item number, not the order number  - Don't give the seller's name
