How is it possible to stop fraudulent sellers the world over from listing "Rainbow Rose Seed" on eBay? 

Rainbow roses are not a type of rose. They are not a variety or rose bred to produce the lovely range of colours seen in the item descriptions.  Rainbow Rose flowers are produced by a process involving splitting the base of cut rose stem in such a manner as to "frey" the stem. Each segement is then placed in a tube containing a dye. As the water containing the dye is draw up into the flower, so too is the dye, producing the rainbow effect seen in the images. Although some internatial players are trying to patent this process it has been in the public domain for more than 1000 years and is practiced in some school biology classes. 

ANY SELLER OFFERING RAINBOW ROSE SEEDS IS A FRAUD. Yet there are more that 400 currently listed on eBay Australia alone.
