Surely someone from Ebay can tell me why this is happening?

Items not showing in purchase history. I was asked by a buyer to leave him feedback but I can not find the item as nothing shows in my purchase history. It seems the people running Ebay leave problems for other members to solve, very slack.

And just to add, while you may 'prefer' an eBay answer, keep in mind eBay staff have little or no experience actually using ebay as buyers/sellers and simply type from pre-written scripts

They may give you feel good comments and promises 

I'd personal rather factual information from fellow members

What was eBay's response when you asked them?

I'm not sure why the buyer would ask you for feedback

a)Feedback is voluntary 

b)the buyer would be well aware they can only be given positive feedback, so simply 'collecting numbers' is pointless 

c)If you are the seller, the item will not be in your purchase history, it will be in the buyer's purchase history 

Have you looked on the account you sold under rather than the one you are posting with?

IF you actually meant to post , you as a buyer was asked by a seller, how long ago did you buy the item in question?
