Transfering from 'Watching' to 'Collections'

Hi there...

 After spending just over three hours  (!!!)  transfering items from my...(Full)...'Watching' list, to a 'Collections' page, I encountered a monstorous problem.

 In the 'Collections', one of the titles in the listings was called "Cannon & Anti-Aircraft Guns"... after loading approximately twenty items under this title, for some reason, the title turned to light grey and italic.

 I re-set the heading but used "and" instead of "&" and it too went a light grey italic.  I had to re-set it, because the light grey italics couldn't be deleted..."strange".

 I went to the 'Collections' page to see if I could repair the problem there, but there wasn't even a showing of either of the titles.

 This means that I have 'lost' twenty odd items because once I loaded the items from "Watching' to 'Collections', I deleted the originals...

 Is there anyway I can retrieve the 'lost' items, and what would possibly cause this problem, so I can avoid it later...?

 I hope this explains my problem in a way you can understand...
