Does the code have t&c attached that the transaction meets?

Have you already used the code on another purchase?

Is it a legitimate discount offer, or just something a random seller put in their ad themselves?

Just to add to what has already been said - not all listings offer Afterpay as a payment option. If the discount is valid for your item, it will also be on the listing's page ("Pay only - tell me how").
