Why didn't the 'best offer' function reset when item relisted?

I submitted two 'best offer's on a listing, of which you get 3. I submitted a counter offer when the listing only had 2 hours remaining. When I logged back on (some 6 hours later) it had been re-listed and had 29 days left. I made another 'best offer' and it now says I have no more offers to make. I don't understand, if it is re-listed why aren't my offers re-set?

I don't think they reset even if it's relisted.
You could message the seller and ask if they are still open to offers from you.
But if they have ignored your previous offers, the offers may too low.
Many sellers think 5% - 10% less than the price is more then a reasonable discount.
