Why is it ebay lets sellers claim to be local, when the seller send from overseas

Why so many sellers lie & ebay will not stop them?

Not seen where ebay allows the seller to say they are local

I have seen many times sellers in Asian countries where it shows the seller is registered in said country say the item is in Australia when it is'nt

ebay allows a seller to say the item is located anywhere

ebay China allow sellers to do anything, ebay Australia can, if they want to, report these sellers to Ebay China who won't do anything

If buyers were to stop buying off sellers registered in China, whose feedback is full of red dots say the seller lied about the item location then they would pretty soon lose a whole lot of business

So why do buyers keep buying from them? ignoring all the warnings in the feedback?
