after making a refund request within the 30 day timelimit ,do i have 30 more days to ask ebay's help

hi

after making a refund request within the 30 day time limit (waiting patiently 25+ days)

cos the item never arrived

the seller has provided a tracking no,

and customer inquiry was registered with australian post by the seller,

and a photo proof of package was taken before sending by the seller

,do i have 30 more days to ask ebay's help or just 3 days after making refund request

incase the seller refuses refund

i believe 2.5 months is enough time to see if item arrives to me or not.

cos i want to give the seller enough time if the item returns back to him or is sent to me

but i dont want to be a sucka either

and paypal 180day(6months) is long time to wait if mail is lost/stolen.
