I noticed there is a new fee called final value fee on shipping in addition to the final value fee normally charged for the sale of the item. This FVFOS is a separate fee for the shipping cost only. When contacting Ebay they said is to make sure sellers don't overcharge on postage. Can't even begin to explain how ridiculous this sounds. As if buyers would buy if the postage cost was too high. The buyer dictates the market, not Ebay.
However, my question is: does this fee apply to all sales? I noticed I wans't charged on all sales so I wonder if it's only for postage costs exceeding a certain amount. I couldn't find any new rules and policies regarding the final value fee on shipping.
