Thanks, I appreciate that an error can occur when placing a bid but the problem is that the that when I accurately entered a bid of $3.19 which was accepted a maximum bid was automatically entered with the decimal point in the wrong place. I don't think I will bid anymore as this has now happened twice and is very stressful. The bid is OK but the maximum bid is wrong. My issue therefore is how to prevent this automatic maximum bid being entered incorrectly. Maybe no one else has had this happen but I have both times I have recently placed bids.
