international shipping

hi, i need some advice please.

i have won two auctions in the US for dress patterns, the shipping quoted on each listing was $18.55 (and still is). However the seller has now sent me a combined invoice with US$104 shipping and is not happy that I pointed out the difference, as she says she is not responsible for the shipping charge "that ebay puts on automatically". is that allowed? i have done a fair bit of selling overseas myself and never come across this.... need help! thanks in advance 🙂

Of course the seller is responsible for this, and can alter it if they choose. Tell them to sort it out, or you will need to ask for a mutual cancellation.

You dont have to worry about negative feedback, sellers have been unable to leave anything but positive feedback for buyers since May 2008.

If they leave you a positive dot with a negative comment you can have that removed by eBay.

But hopefully it wont come to that, and you can work this out amicably with them 🙂
