i purchased solar panels and have just worked out the are not the watts they were advertised. i have tried to contact the seller with no luck. it has taken 5 month due to replacing other items in the solar system and now working out it was the panels. i cannot find a way to contact ebay about this as they items are labeled wrong and miss leading. any help would be great
Your only chances are with Paypal if you paid that way, they will cover you for 180 days past the transaction date, BUT you need to sign up for the free postage return offer BEFORE opening a dispute with them.
https://www.paypal.com/au/webapps/mpp/returns
If Paypal fails then if you paid by credit card you could try a chargeback - but do not open both disputes at the same time or they'll both be closed against you.
I think the free postage return is available also if the purchase has been made without the free return option enabled, but you have to sign up for free returns BEFORE the purchase.
From the PayPal site: "You’ll be eligible for a refund on return shipping costs from your next PayPal purchase."
