this seems wrong to me - what can i do?

Please understand that we cannot accept the return of the product if the product is NOT damaged in transit, dead on Arrival/faulty, or incorrectly shipped. In this instance, the best I can do is to refund $25 back to you.

The mat I paid for was $44.95 plus postage...

My complaint was 'the 'non slip' shower mat is so bad its DANGEROUS (in fact i dont think that it should be sold as non slip at all). slippery on the top and doesnt stick to the shower floor. '

Seems to me that any item which is meant to be non-slip and isnt, is certainly faulty and should qualify for a refund as per the sellers statement.

If you paid by Paypal, open a dispute now.  If you didnt, you have no buyer protection via eBay or Paypal but may be able to follow this up via Fair Trading in your state if the seller is a registered business.
