why can't i buy something on ebay

I can't buy anything on ebay at the moment what is wrong?

Have you ever bid on an an item and not paid for it on time?  For example, the auction finished and you didn't pay within 3 days?  Or you paid using Buy It Now but didn't pay for it within three days?

If that's the case ebay stops you after doing this 3 times.

For a start a seller can only open a NPB after 4 days, the buyer then has another 4 days to pay before they receive a strike. 2 or more in 12 months will block them from buying/bidding on seller's items where they have the harshest blocks in place.

I have never heard of eBay banning buyers that have had 3 strikes - where is the policy link for that?

Misinformation has always been a problem on the boards Sandy, theoretically those posts containing it should be taken down by the mods, but they are often left up...........
