10 watt flood lights

Hi I have bought some 10w led flood lights, they are very well built and I shall be able to use them but they are definatly Not 10 watts, I have tested them to draw a maximum of 4.4 watts and have conveyed this to the seller and have asked them to test them and adjust the listing!

how do I go about telling Ebay about this and getting them to do something if the seller does not change the listing to be Accurate!

You cannot force anyone to do anything.

If the item is Not As Described you open a dispute, send the item back to the seller when told to do so and get a refund.

Other than that, you make your feelings known in feedback.

A large ebay store sold me some led strobe lights that they claimed where 75w,when they arrived the manufacturers claim was they are 6w.So I asked the Ozstore and there excuse was they are as bright as a 75w incandescent bulb so they are allowed to say they are 75w lights. Was bulls droppings to me,they still sell them as 75w lights

Just like selling a four cylinder engine that has been hotted up to equal a 6, it is still afour and thats that. Forget what it is supposedly equal to, it must be described as what it is acctually putting out. Led's dont equal normal lamps in light quality either, just try reading under one, it's like liquid ice cream. Just like a lot of advertised items these days, both here and in the stores, they push the description to the max and use a lot of spin rubbish to get the buyer is, and then throw up the fineprint to escape the seller responsibilities.
