FOR NEARLY 3 YEARS i HAVE HAD PROBLEMS WITH FASTAWAY COURIERS HERE IN CAIRNS. THEY NEVER LEAVE PRODUCT, DAMAGE PRODUCTS AND ARE GENERALLY OBNOXIOUS **bleep**S TO DEAL WITH.
I REFUSE TO BUY PRODUCTS IF THEUB ARE BEING COURIERED BY FASTAWAY.
Last week I had a supplier outside of ebay send a product. When I had a tracking order related to Fastway I contacted the supplier and said that I hope it arrives. The supplier actually apologised about using Fastway and sent another of the same product to me by Express post. It had reached Fastway warehouse here in Cairns but the supplier had asked them to return the first one back to them. (it was a very light and small product).

A proportion are unreliable. This sounds like a seller issue. We've had nothing but good experiences with our local fastway. Any issues with delivery couriers need to be reported to your account manager, its not that hard really. Our account manager gets those problems solved fast. Obviously your sellers don't care enough to follow it up or they don't even have an account manager?
Another thing too (its different with lost items or delays). But how is it the couriers fault if they aren't packed right? Unless the package is ran over or through it needs to withstand transit.

The StarTrack drivers are all self employed sub contractors too.....it is not all that unusual as it puts all the financial responsibility onto the drivers. They are responsible for their own insurance costs, holiday pay etc.
HOw do i get the fastway contractor to deliver my parcel. I told fastway to get the courier to dop my parcel over my fence and near the front door. He came hete after I waited for 7 hours for him to deliver my parcel. Then I had to go out. He didn't drop my parcel over my fence as requested. When I rang fastway they told me I has to pay them $5.50 delivery fee. I refused to pay them. How can they deliver my parcel when they refuse to drop it over my fence and I don't want to wait in my house for 8, hours and God know how many days. to get my parcel delivered even if I pay the $5.50 delivery fee.
If you have a particular wish about delivery, you usually have to tell the seller to add a note on the parcel (the delivery person might comply or not, but at least they should see it). Postal companies usually only talk to the delivery people when there is a problem (for example to find out where an item is if it is missing).
