After having the highest bid and winning the a bike. The seller no longer wants to sell it.

My question Is an eBay sale the same as a contract of sale?

Can i force the sale?

hi

I am very sorry to do this to you but wife had a change of heart and does not want to let it go now... Your bid was actually more than we paid of the bike so its not about $$, I understand ofcourse if you leave negative feedback on ebay. These bikes often come up on ebay there is actually one near by which is ending today and looks like will be much cheaper http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Giant-Boulder-/221625427067?pt=AU_Cycling_New_&hash=item3399e7a47b, really feel stupid to message you with these news...

In reality, there is no way to enforce the sale.    If the seller does not want to sell after all,  that's it.

Probably in this case, I would just let it go.    Who knows what flak the seller is getting from his better half Smiley Very Happy

In the spirit of Christmas - accept the cancellation if he sends one - and buy elsewhere.
