Is there a way to remove the "Best Match" which appears to be the default option to view search results. It is completely irrelevant to my searches, does not come up with any (even close) matches and it is just a waste of time. Thank you 🙂

Top right of search results : Customise View
Choose your own default search 🙂

Thanks Austeam.:-)
I mainly search by "newly listed" and prior to the recent changes, if I selected that option, results would come out that way in subsequent searches.
Now if I select "newly listed" then do a second search in, say, another category, it reverts back to Best Match.
I was wondering how to make the selected option stick. Fixed, using Customise View.

I've set Customised View so often I've lost count....but the settings never stay. Very frustrating.

Best match is a waste of buyers time and a useless feature

Whilst my listings mostly rank pretty well in the best match feature due to the area I sell in having little big business or overseas competition - still gotta say that as a seller and a buyer best match is one of the most useless, irritating ebay features that does not, in anyway, assist me in locating items I am seeking to spend money on.
I want the ability as a very frequent buyer to set my search preferences permanently. Whilst it may be only a couple of extra clicks on desktop computer, on an i-phone which I do most of buying from, you need to go to different page to reset your search - every single time you search X-(.
