Hi,
yesterday I made an offer on an item and received an email from Ebay telling me the offer had been accepted by the seller. I had to acknowledge in the email and when I did I was invoiced for the original BIN price. I have no intention of paying that, otherwise I would have used BIN in the first place. I then received an email from Ebay saying my offer had been declined. The item is no longer for sale and in my purchase history awaiting payment from me for the original price. No way. Looks like my first NPB strike in 14 years of using Ebay is coming up.

Well, obviously something went wrong, maybe it is a glitch due to being Friday = maintenance day.
The seller cannot issue invoice for more than the buying price, they are probably also wondering what has happened. Why not message them and ask what is going on?

will be a glitch. I often get the case where buyer makes and offer, I supply counter offer. Buyer then rather clicking to accept offer hits the original BIN and then complains that invoice shows original BIN price.
Seller cannot change sell price on invoice.
Dont know why you had to acknowledge. If you sent offer and seller accepts then item is sold, There is no confirmation required from you, it is sold as soon as seller accepts. Also once a seller accepts offer they cant then decline it. Are you sure seller didn't decline and then somehow you selected BIN button, hence buying at full price?

Ask the seller for clarification as to what they believe happened. Is it the bracelet from Lithuania?

are you sure the original email was an acceptance or could it have been a counter offer?
