Bought item on 22nd of Jan, seller is not replying to numerous msgs for address to pick up

Did the listing offer pick up ?

I assume you are paying cash on pick up so unless the seller gets back to you early next week, I would move on.

Even though it's poor form to not respond at all, it's only been 6 working days.

With a holiday and chinese new year in between.

Can I ask you a question. Little off topic but is it possible for buyers to purchase without paying anymore? (re cash on pick up) I had a buyer who couldn't purchase without paying, legit she even sent me screen shots. Finished up accepting p/pal payment and just asked her to do feedback while we were together stating picked up/date/happy. All went well and she was honest anyway, but is there currently any way to purchase without payment?

If you list an item as Pick up only you can ask for cash on pickup even though you still have to offer paypal.

But the buyer can still walk away without paying if they are not happy with the item....and you cannot open a dispute for non payment.

Thank you lyndal, but isn't it now impossible to purchase an item without paying, as buyers once could? I've always done cash pickups so understand the reasoning or choice to opt for cash pick ups, but is it even possible? They change the rules so often I can't keep up. If this were Wimbledon, we wouldn't know which end of the court to stand on

Penny just dropped. I haven't been selecting cash on pick up as a payment option when doing listings. I once had a weird thing happen, some buyer found a way to pull a scam. No pick up ever took place, from memory they were in another state, so long ago I can't remember detail, but since that experience, I ceased selecting that payment method, although still did cash only pick ups. Does that make sense? Probably not lol
