Bulk pick-up, but something is missing?

Hi 🙂

Just wondering who is responsible when you arrange to pick-up an item (Bulk items in a box) And when you get home you find that not all the pieces are there? Who is responsible for getting those missing pieces to you?

The Seller saying her son must of taken it out! Shouldn't listed items be secured from furture play and wear?

As I mentioned it was a large package and all boxed up, the seller assured all was there!

Now do I have to go bac or should the seller deliver it to me?

Sorry but it is your responsibility to check things, if they are boxed up then you unbox them, that is why there is no Paypal seller protection for pick up items.

Having said that it is obviously the seller's error so if they will not deliver the missing parts I would leave the a neg.

If I had made the error as the seller, I would offer to deliver in a flash.

Depending on their helpfulness will probably determine the feedback you might leave.

Either a neut or neg if not helpful.

I would not be leaving a neg for a pick up item when you didnt actually check the order yourself?

Contact your seller and ask her to meet you half way with the remaining order. You are both to blame, but in my eyes, you are MORE to blame. You handed over the money without first checking what it was you were walking away with.

Your right jane, buyer should always check.

But if the seller said, yes it's all there, honest people take their word on it.

Good idea to meet half way. That deserves a pos.

But I would still leave neut if not helpful at all and a neg if rude.

I would be angry too, but did the seller explain why she will not deliver?  Not everybody drives (believe it or not) or has a car, or is able to in a particular time.

It's been two days since pick-up and I have not heard back from the seller.

I acknowledge that it's silly not to check the item prior to payment and leaving their premises, Unfortunately half the time you're handed them at the door and it closes there after, also I was unable to go myself (My Son was sick!) and had sent my partner who only knew it was a bulk pick-up (Would not have known if anything was missing!) So I was dependant on them being all boxed or bagged and handed over. The part missing was a rather large and noticeable piece. shame as I would have noticed that! Funny that the seller didn't!

I suppose I'll have to go back and get it, though not happy about it. Funny; if it was me I'd deliver or post it, as I would not want a disgruntled buyer coming back to my house!
