Buying using vouchers will not get refunded if the transaction is cancelled

I bought item using ebay voucher. The item never arrive and seller issued a refund.

I can see in paypal that the I received the refund and then get sent straight back to Ebay.

I had this in the past where I have to make a call and hassle them numerous times until the marketing team has to issued another voucher.

I still couldn't believe that there's no proper process of handling this case.

Anyone else experiencing the same issue? do yo uhave other way to make the claim?

If a refund is issued for an item which has been part paid for by a voucher you are only entitled to receive the amount back that you actually paid.  The amount of the voucher does not get refunded to you as you never paid it in the first place.

but can she reuse that protion of the payment somehow? do you get a replacement voucher?

You need to read the terms of the particular voucher but as far as I know the value of the voucher is not refunded unless the voucher was not accepted in the first place.
