Yes just add it as a debit/credit card to your paypal account.

Yes with sellers that have a merchant facility.

But I think you can also add the card to your PayPal account and use the credit on the card by paying with PayPal.

(I have a debit card linked to my PayPal account which I top up to use so I think it's the same).

Yes, you can pay with a prepaid card but depending on the card you may have dificulties if you need to receive a refund.

If the card can be topped up with new funds then you are OK.  If it has a certain value of funds and cannot be recharged when those funds run out then you will not be able to get a refund.

If you pay with Paypal try putting the Mastercard details in there, otherwise I'm pretty sure the "gift card" option is only for eBay gift cards.
