You can open an item not as described dispute with Paypal and if they find in your favour you'll need to return the bag via Registered Post.

Have you contacted the seller to let them know?
on โ01-11-2012 07:54 AM
Yes, you can, but first you need to contact the seller and see what they have to say. It may be an honest mistake; looks like the bags are very similar or you would have noticed before leaving FB. They may give you partial refund, if you think this bag is not as good as the other.
It is a good idea to examine item thoroughly before leaving FB. But yes, you can open PP case even if you already left FB.

You know there's a chance it's a fake don't you ? If you suspect it is that's a valid reason to open a dispute however it isn't easy to prove it to Paypal. They will require proof.

yes i know its a fake lol she stated she didnt know and the card wasnt pictured but when it rocked up i knew by the card and serial number as the 1's in the serial number were all wrong, its not that i think its fake I KNOW its fake but she has used a completely different item pictured to the one she was selling so i thought that was kinda misleading ๐

Do you know its illegal to sell fakes in this country?
on โ01-11-2012 10:56 AM
It is also illegal to own one. But if in any other way the bag is the same, I would not bother making claims; just different label (or extra line) is not going to be enough to win a case.
Unless you think that the bag in picture is genuine and the one you got is not, and will be able to get a letter from authorised Channel distributor, there is no way you will win the case.
Just ask the seller for explanation.

It would be impossible to prove that it is a fake because the seller has been very cunning and not even mentioned a brand name.
