Case Closed, but no refund being refunded from seller.

I have purchased a ,mobile case for my Samsung J1 2016, but the case does not fit.  - seller is in Hong Kong, never trust HK ebay seller again.  The amount is small, so ebay closed my case.  I am at lost about this.  Why closed when no refund being received?

I need help on this matter, could someone help pls?

I will never by anything from HK ebay seller again as a result of this bad experience.

You should have been told why the case was found against you, it was probably because you failed to complete one of the steps needed to go through the process. Did you open a return request? Did you say it was because the item was not as described? Did you ask ebay to step in if the seller did not reply or refund?

If the ebay case is closed you can open a Paypal dispute for item not as described, presumably you used Paypal, but make sure you sign up for the free returns promotion if it is still available first as you will almost certainly have to send it back to HK.

The limited refund return promotion is still available PJ, but I'm going through one at the moment and it's an absolute dog's breakfast to deal with.

The case would not have been close because of the amount involved....I have had refunds for amounts as low as $1.25.

What does the email say,,,,there must have been a reason that your dispute failed.

In my experience I can't recall any times I've needed to open a dispute against a China or hk seller. They usually fall over themselves to refund for fear of negative feedback and I've even had them replace and refund in the hope I'd revise negative feedback (only left after zero response from the seller for many days). I'm surprised it got as far as a dispute.

It's bad because it seems some of the overseas sellers send out very substandard products and hope for the bulk of them to be accepted.
