I am astounded that the estimated delivery date has changed after a sale. If that has happened, it is not on.
You had every right to open a dispute for an item that was several days past the delivery date. Probably I would wait for a tad more than 3 days over, but that's a personal decision and by that stage, you had most likely been waiting well over a week or two altogether for it to arrive.
Are you absolutely sure the delivery date has changed? Sometimes when i go in to look at past purchases and open the link, the delivery date has changed to current, real time. I think it is because the seller has relisted the same ad or has more than one of that product?
But if I click on 'original ad', then the actual ad I bought from comes up and I can see that original due date.
I would continue with the dispute, maybe show your own screenshot if you can, to reflect their original ad.
But I would be interested to know how you get on with this as surely the ebay system/whatever computer system ebay uses to decide these sorts of cases, would have the correct ETA recorded. I hope so.
