Chargted twice for items, with only one order on my profile

The title basically says it all. I placed 2 separate orders for different items, and was charged 3 times. Once for each of the items i ordered, and another time for the total of the 2 orders together.

I cannot find a way to contact ebay to get it fixed, and there is only 1 order for each item showing up on myebay.

I have been charged twice according to my bank.

Does anyone know a solution to this? Or a way to get in contact with ebay? Every phone number doesn't work and the live help always says it isn't available

Are any of the charges "pending" or are they already processed?

Processed. My account has gone into negative because of the 2 transactions, but the payment to the sellers has gone through

Might be an error on the banks side, rather than on Ebay's.

Either way, give your bank as shout in the morning and lodge a dispute on the extra charges.

Is there a reason i can't get through to the live chat? I can't find anything to indicate they're only open certain hours

No idea what time chat are available, but I'm guessing that they can only see what you can see - one payment for each order.

How would they be able to see the extra charges? Only in your bank account can you see them.

You can certainly try, but I think your bank would be able to help more.

Was the payment made via PayPal and if yes, is the extra payment showing up there?
Also, have you contacted the seller?
I would take a screenshot of the bank statement, cross out all the personal info and keep it handy just in case you need proof.

I do think talking to your bank would be a good idea.

Good luck
