that is less Aust Post working days.
So to all the buyers out there, if you are looking at purchasing items for Christmas gifts via ebay PLEASE take into consideration the longer postage times over the silly season due to the extra work for AP and DO NOT blame the seller if the item does not arrive to you before Xmas because you did not allow enough time for it to arrive.
Christmas comes at the same time EVERY year so all should be used to the date of it by now 🙂
So many buyers will choose to leave purchasing till the last minute and then expect the seller to have your items to on time.
Then the seller will get the blame (even if they post the day payment is received) when your purchase was a late decision and is not with you for Xmas.
And do NOT expect express posted items to arrive any faster. If your seller does not offer it do not get angry when they refuse to use it.
In the past way too many buyers leave purchasing Xmas gifts till the last working week and then say "Can you get it to me before Xmas day as it is a prezzie"
We are sellers NOT miracle workers.
That's my rant.
PS it is the same for Birthday gifts. The date is known since the birth so do not leave your purchase too late 🙂

I know what you mean soulyears about keeping an eye on dates. It's critical when it's an overseas purchase because these days your parcel could arrive in a couple of weeks....or four...or much worse. You just never know.
I've got a couple of Oz purchases and it's only been a couple of days and things are hectic at this time of year so I get that my items are hardly likely to be a priority. But at the same time, I hope they will be posted soon - and will be marked as such - because I don't want them to be forgotten about either. 😮

It's also good for buyers not to be too worried if the seller doesn't mark it as posted. The previous transaction that I mentioned was an international parcel bought 9 days ago. It arrived today. Incredibly fast! Never marked as posted.
So, just because something isn't marked as posted doesn't mean it actually wasn't posted. No reason to get in a fuss. Just keep track of the purchase date for future reference if need be.
