Counterfeit goods: How can I ensure that counterfeit product are delisted from Ebay?

Hi, I have bought via an auction air tools second hand. Once at home and on close scrutiny I found that the gear was disfunctional and that it is counterfeit. I have made a case against the seller and Ebay is investigating.

However this very same product is sold by a large retailer on Ebay and I am pretty suspect uninitiated hobbyists may be caught out like me.

I have reported the items several times but have had no feedback and  they are still listed.

See item 370518611199,  320701897778 and several more of the 'Chicago' brand.

Regards,

John

You need to open a case with Paypal, not eBay. Within 45 days of purchase. Paypal provide buyer protection in Australia, not eBay.

You say "once at home".....does that mean that you picked the item up from the seller?

If this is the case you have no comeback at all as you are supposed to check the items thoroughly before paying and taking them away.

Ebay will not do anything about your other reports.....they will not remove listings just on a member's say so as you have no proof that they are counterfeit.

They will only remove items if they are reported by the rights holders.
