Hi Everybody
I recently purchased this item 290804700034 and received an item identical to this item 160903781478.
It performs the same function, but the item I got is made in China and ½ the price.
Should I worry about it?.....Is it worth complaining?
Any opinions would be appreciated.

What kind of stupidity is this? If you order a ford and get a holden or vice versa, it is still a car. But it is not the car you ordered and nobody would suggest that you must take it.
If the item is not exactly the same, ie colour, shape capacity model number and every other detail implied in either the description or the image then it is not what you purchased. If there is a conflict in the listing such as the description not fitting exactly, the image then you should be aware of that before you bid and discuss it with the seller to determine the true nature of the item. Only if the seller has included a caveat such as saying the delivered item will be similar and not necessarily identical can it be substituted. If the seller says it will be similar but does not provide an accurate description of the differences, you should not bid untill you clearly understand what those differences are, because this forms the new description on which a claim for substitution may be made.
Let us be clear! Under Australian law, a seller may not substitute an alternative item for the one you purchased regardless of how minor the differences may be, unless you have agreed to accept the substitution. But if the seller says there may be minor differences it is the responsibility of the purchaser to determine what those differences are before purchasing.
