Ebay 'Buyer Protection' is a lie and a CON!

I have been conned and ripped off. I bought a magazine for a lot of money. The seller decided decided he didn't want to sell it to me after he had received my money, made an excuse then returned the money and wouldn't post the item despite the fact that I still wanted it.

You have not been conned or ripped off at all.

You chose to bid or buy and then pay so there was no conning going on and you have been refunded so you have not been ripped off.

You can leave neg feedback to the seller to advise others seller does not compete transaction.

Buyer protection is all about protecting payments, there's simply no way eBay or PayPal can guarantee that someone else will provide you with something, they (PayPal) can only help recover funds if the seller doesn't provide the item or a refund.

Wonder what the OP originally said before it was censored edited by a mod?

I hope it was to remove an id or item number but looking at the lithium performance so far that seems unlikely!
