Did you actually open a dispute with eBay's MBG within the time-frames and escalate it when allowed ?
Have you checked at the post office specified ? If the seller can show by tracking that they've sent the item and it has been "delivered" you will lose the dispute.
There's no need to email them, all correspondence is done within the dispute.

Opening a dispute would have put the onus on the seller to provide tracking. If they could not, then you would have been refunded. Seller has no obligation unless there is a case against them. So is there tracking and if so, what does it indicate?
You have 30 days from the last ETA date to open a case. Bad sellers try stalling the buyer so that the window of opportunity times out.
Have you even read the buyers guide of what to do when things go wrong?

Have you got a tracking number? What does it say? Does it confirm that the parcel is at the post office or does it say something else?
If the item is awaiting collection at the post office, you won't be able to get your money back through the MBG.
If the tracking says something else or if there is no tracking and the seller is finding excuses, you have to open a proper dispute, as already suggested. It is not useful to keep talking to sellers when you think they are not helping. You will just run of time to open a dispute.

One more thing in addition to the excellent advice already given: you cannot name and shame on these boards. That is against the Community Guidelines, and if you do post the seller’s details (username or name or what-have-you), a moderator will remove that information from your post.
Perhaps the responders here can help, though. Can you post the item number here? It will be on the original listing. We can try to establish some specifics and suggest what to do.

Me too! I placed order on 3 Sept 22 after my order didn't arrive by the time it supposed to. I contacted the seller. I was told to be patient and my order is on its way but could be delayed by the Post. So, I waited and waited. I didn't know that the eBay will close the case after 21 days. I placed the appealed and I was hoping the eBay will action more. I was wrong, both eBay and the seller totally ignored my messages. Every time I tried to send message to eBay about unreceived item. the pop-up message showed this case is closed.
I contacted the Australian Post with the tracking number the seller provided. The Post informed that it was unable to locate it. This matter made me feel really bad and uncomfortable to order anything from eBay.
eBay has been very good in the past. But right now, I totally lost confidence in their support. Especially, when facing untrustworthy of the Seller.

That is why you need to act within the time limits and follow through
It is up to you to 'know' , buying 101
there are no extensions
You as the buyer are given all the tools and have all the power, use them
Do not allow sellers to string you along and allow time to run out
Don't wait and wait and then expect to be covered and blame 'eBay' because you failed to follow the procedure you need to follow to be covered

If you paid by PayPal, you have 180 days to 'dispute' via their site

Most of the time ebay sellers are pretty reliable, but it is like buying from anywhere, you have to be on the alert and if things go wrong, you need to act sooner rather than later.
Most real shops only allow up to a month with exchanges etc. I know this isn't an exchange problem but I am just pointing out that there is a time limit for things when buying, from anywhere.
So it is in your interest to read up ebay terms and conditions and about what to do, as soon as you hit a problem. Not months later.
