Simple really.
Someone shouldn't have to resort to that lyndal1838. The fact that you have suggested this is a strong indication that the 2 months (60 DAYS) is not enough in a world that is now unstable. This does make valid case, yet another for a rrestoration to pre-May 2008 TTLFB of 90 days. We have had muliple threads about the time being too short irecently.
As a seller I have automated feedback left for buyers as soon as they have made payment because as far as I'm concerned they've done what they're supposed to do and that's pay me.
As a buyer I will leave feedback within a few hours of receiving my item so to say that 60 days isn't long enough for a buyer to leave feedback is absolutely a joke, a buyer would need to be coming out of a coma to not have enough time to leave feedback!

That's actually incorrect. Only you and your clone, who started yet another thread about it (funny about that), and a few others have any issue with the timeframe.
As most buyers don't leave feedback, it is reasonable to infer that the majority of members aren't unhappy about it. Or care, even. You would have to provide actual proof that the majority of members, not just the ones who post on the boards, are unhappy to have even a snowball's chance of your theory being even close to the truth.
Discuss. With supporting FACTS.
First of all, who and what is my clone? And why do you make that statement?
You should know that there have been serveral recent threads about FB being too short.

You should know, and do, that your assertion doesn't apply to the majority of buyers. They don't give a rats about feedback, because they don't leave it. They care about getting what they paid for. If they buy from overseas during COVID, a definite, mindblank, minority, then them's the breaks.
You are fully aware of who your clone is. Same issues, same complaints, never provide an answer...

And again for the hard of hearing reading
The only way you will run out of time is if you let a seller string you along.

Not sure if you realize this but some items coming from overseas take between 5 weeks and over 6. This has happened to me 3 times. Also dvd.h ran out of time as well.
I suppose we could leave feedback after the first week and hope that the item arrives OK in the next 5. But that's probably not a good move I'd say.
Yes I do realize it may take many weeks for an item to arrive from OS but unless every time you have purchased from OS you have had problems with your item or you never received it or the sellers know they may not receive feedback from you due to the slow delivery I don't see why leaving feedback is so important?
I have a rule of 3 strikes and I'm out meaning if I get mucked around that many times from the same type of purchase then I'm done.
I don't sell for feedback if I did I wouldn't be able to count that high anyway haha,
Feedback aside why would someone keep on purchasing in the same manner that they always keep having the same issues that they're not happy with?

It's a mantra, instyle. The OP and his alter ego have decided that this is an issue. Like 5G, flouridation, GM food, any other conspiracy theory you care to name...

Hey, FB was reduced from 90 to 60 days in May, 2008 because it was assumed that items even from overseas could arrive in time and issues still be resolved within 60 days. The world is a different place today. As of early 2020, thingss changed and they'll probably not improve for some time. The OP is one of quite a few who have encountered issues.
The short of ot is that 60 days is not enough to comfortably deal with things.
We either have feedback or we don't.

Who is the alter ego of the OP davewil1964?
And this seems to be an issue because the OP, myself and about 4 or 5 other people have started threads about this within recent times.

"The majority of members are not happy with things the way they are"
In excess of 75 million then ?
