G'day all,
Anyone else having this problem?
Since last Friday I cannot log in to Paypal using Firefox v30.0.
I can with Internet Explorer ( which is a real about face!)
All I get is the spinning circle with the word "loading", which stays that way for 10 minutes or more.
Everything else is working fine with Firefox and I have the same problem whether I am on my computer at work or the one at home, both running XP SP3 and Firefox 30.0

I had a problem logging into PayPal with Firefox a couple of weeks ago, but it was only briefly (the issue seemed to resolve itself by the next day, and I used Chrome in the interim).
Unfortunately, I don't know what the issue could be, so can only suggest the usual (i.e. clearing cookies, cache etc to see if that helps).

I have never tried clearing the cookies and cache (I would say that should work) but the same thing happens with mine and I just hit the reload button. On my bowser a bar appears at the top of the page for me to allow it, I think it is to allow a redirect.

That bar is to confirm that you want the same information entered on the log-in page re-submitted, intended as a failsafe against sending things like payment information / confirmation twice (a few times I've had my internet connection drop out while making a payment, and the loading screen right after clicking the button to confirm pyment just hangs, in those cases it's always better to close the tab and check that the payment didn't go through, as a few times the payment went through as normal, but for whatever reason it took a little while to be fully resgistered in the system - eg the payment was gone from my account, but it still took a while for that to be reflected on eBay, and the email receipt didn't come through for ages).

Could it be something wrong with Firefox?
Uni espouses the use of Firefox for their intranet too, just like eBay, and this last week, I have been unable to access a lot of the site via Firefox, had to swap to Chrome. I couldn't upload assignments, documents or watch Lectures, but worked a treat on Chrome.
Haven't had a problem with eBay though, but I do keep getting some little pop up asking me something about "silverlight" anyone know what that is before i click it and crash the Mighty Viper?

I should have pointed out that I wouldn't do it if making a payment. It never freezes on the screen for me if making a payment, just when logging into paypal directly. Also it does say to allow for redirecting at the top left of the bar.
