Hi Michelle...
Who knows, eh?
It's hard to know who or what to believe these days, eh?
But you know the drill, if sufficient time has passed and you should have received the item by now, (remember Aus Post don't always scan parcels) go to PayPal and open an INR, and let the seller sort it out with PayPal
Hope it turns up soon for you

In my experience Australia Post tracking information does not show up until the day of delivery in most cases. Give it a few days. I usually wait for 2 weeks within Australia. I will then contact the seller. Wait a couple of days for a responce. If I'm not not happy with the responce or don't get a responce I make a PayPal claim.
Be patient, and best of luck

In my experience i have no idea.
You say the tracking number is invalid? I think? Who knows?
You seem to have more issues than any 100 other buyers combined. Maybe it's you?

Today's eBay experience
1) an item arrived from the US in 6 days!
2) an item I order from a big online store and B&M store - truck driver arrived,
Him: "I've got your fridge for you"
Me: I didn't order a fridge"
Him: Do you want one? That's what they have dispatched for you.....
3) ordered 6 items - different seller (but another with a huge B&M presence too) - initially out of stock for 10 days (even though instock when I purchased) - arrived today - but only 5 of them
checked the documents
Me: There are only 5 here, I ordered 6
Truck Driver: Yes, the paperwork says 6
Me: But there are only 5 here.
TD: Well they only gave me 5, sign here
Me: Nope
went in and contacted seller - well we dispatched six - courier company must have lost one...
Me: so what now
Seller: we will chase it up, and we do note that there were only 5 on the truck (made the driver make a note on the consignment form)
Me: and if you can't find the missing item?
Seller: We will refund you LESS shipping costs since you refused to accept the order
Me - well, we will just see about that.....

I bid on an item and won it then paid for it. Strange thing is there is no record of tracking even though it has track number on it and on my Paypal account it says cancelled. When I emailed seller he said item has been posted no problem blah blah. Item is showing as posted on my ebay site. Doesnt seem too hunky dory to me.
Could be being sent by an eparcel - you won't be able to see the tracking if that is the case.
When was the purchase ? Yesterday, a few days ago, a week ago, a month ago ???

Eparcel is a trackable service so if it was sent by eparcel the tracking shows on the Australia Post website.
