Hiding item that you have purchased

When you read peoples feedback you can also click on 'view item' to see what they have bought. Is there anyway you can hide what you have purchased so the 'view item' does not appear???

Hiding item that you have purchased

in short..NO

in some circumstances, the seller may have made the listing a Private Auction, Bidders Identity will not be disclosed.  IN those cases, they appear in feedback as private

in other circumstances, if you are a buyer only and have no intention of selling... then you can set your feed back to (private) instead of a number (4117), and no feedback will show.

but if someone knows your ebay ID they can ALWAYS check to see what you were bidding on.....

Hi,  If it's a BIN you can ask the seller to make it a private listing.  You can also set your fb to private, but people can still search your recent purchases via advanced search.

Personally I like private listings, but then I'm a private person!

If I was to buy something I was embarrassed about I would probably not buy it online. Otherwise I would use a spare ID.
